The latest version of JaC64 is now up on jac64.com. Most important fix is a workaround for getting the Java 6 javasound bug not affecting the frame rate of the emulator. If anyone still have problem with flickering / varying framerate when using the emulator please send me an email or report in the forums (or add a comment to this news item)!

Hi Joakim,

tried to find the v1.0 of the emulator - but I can only find the beta 3 release on the documentation page and 1.0b on sourceforge... where should I look?

Great emulator

I want to congrat you for his great java-c64 emulator!
Perhaps a bug can be spotted out: Deathwish3 is not working with it, also Barbarian II... (some of my favourite games smilies/cool.gif)
Cheers, Markus

What OS do you run? What processor do you have?
(my machine runs XP and an "old" hyperthreading 3.19 Ghz Pentium 4 processor).

great emulator, but a wish for future versions
written by erhan, December 24, 2007
thanks for this great emulator! i made a webpage with more than 30 classical games..with jac64 1.0,most games are running well without bugs..
2 wishes for the future versions :
- games using commodore key conflicts with joy2 fire button(it would be good we can re-map keys with java commands)
- ability to hard-reset emulator (for reset-protected games like krakout-barbarian etc)
future versions
written by Joakim Eriksson, December 25, 2007
I'll improve keymapping and add a possibility to remap with javascript calls and possibly applet-param config. And I'll also add a hard-reset (or rather replace the current with a hard one).
